50 Foot Stainless Steel Wort Chiller

I have already written a post about the benefits of a wort chiller. You can read it HERE. The chiller that we use at the No Ragrets Brewatorium is a 50-foot stainless steel model. It was purchased from eBay and the price was in the same range as a 25' copper immersion chiller. The sell-outs over at Northern Brewer price their 25' stainless steel immersion chiller at $69.99. The 50' model chills much faster than a 25' model but the stainless steel makes this bad boy shine.

Stainless steel tubing is much tougher than copper. A stainless chiller will last a lifetime. For a mere $57.46 with Free Shipping you can get yourself a 50' Stainless Steel Immersion Chiller by clicking HERE.

From my previous write-up on chillers:

" 2) My personal preference is immersion chillers. Counterflow chillers and plate chillers will get you to pitching temps faster but the immersion chiller can get you worth chilled down below 140 the fastest. To use an immersion chiller you simply place the coil in you worth 10 minutes before flameout. At flameout you run hose water through the coil and, via heat exchange, the coil sucks the heat right out of your scalding hot creation..."

If you prefer copper you can find a 50' copper immersion chiller on Amazon for $63.99 by clicking HERE.
